Sipadan Water Village
Sipadan Water village is located on Mabul Island and the entire resort is built over water on stilts. This is to prevent damage to the reefs below and still ensuring that guests get a beautiful view of the scenary the moment they wake up.
Getting there
After arriving at the Tawau airport, you’ll be brought to the small town of Semporna, where you may have to stay a night in the little town depending on your time of arrival into Sabah. A 30 minute spped boat ride would then take you to the island of Mabul.
Accomodation
The architectural design of the 45 water chalets reflects the influence of the local Bajau style. The resort is located on a part of the island where it is sheltered from the storm. The floor of the water cottages is less than 1 meter above the high water mark. The chalets are spacious with wide sliding doors that open onto the room’s private deck.

Offering a mixture of local and continental cuisine, the open-air styled restaurant has a capacity of 150 people at a time.
