Getting there
After arriving at the Tawau airport, you’ll be brought to the small town of Semporna, where you may have to stay a night in the little town depending on your time of arrival into Sabah. The next step would be to get onboard a 45 min speedboat transfer to the Seaventures oil rig.
Accomodation
Seaventures Dive Resort has 28 comfortable rooms and 2 superb suites, accommodating a maximum of 45 guests with plenty of space and privacy. Each well-furbished and fully air-conditioned room has ample modern facilities, including fresh, clean water.
Meals
Guests staying on the oil rig have a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisine prepared by local and Chinese chefs.
Facilities
Facilities include free Internet, a karaoke lounge with pool table, a souvenie shop and even a conference room with fax services. In between dives you could even head out to the oil rig’s sun deck to relax.
Diving
This allows for unlimited diving, even night diving, in waters directly under the platform, which can be accessed via a lift from above. Its central location within a short boat-ride from such world-class dive spots as Sipadan, Mabul and Langkayan makes the resort a perfect spring board for divers to explore these three marine paradises.
