Bali
Bali is located in between Java and Nusa Tenggara in Indonesia. Being in the region where the Pacific Ocean meets the Indian Ocean, Bali basically lies right in the center of the world’s richest marine biogeographical region. With quite a few beautiful dive sites around Bali, divers are sure to enjoy the company of the rich marine biodiversity found there including over eighty genera of coral and almost twenty five hundred species of fish!
Diving Season in Bali
The best period for Bali would be during April to December, but visiting after June will have a higher likelyhood of finding sunfish, sharks and other pelagic fish. The rest of the year from December to March is the monsoon period in Bali and will reduce the visibility in general.

About Padang Bai
Padang Bai is a small natural harbour on the East coast of Bali, facing the small islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongen. The sea between the islands is deep (up to 300 metres) while the coasts are fringed with coral reefs in extremely good health. This combination of conditions makes for a large number of varied dive sites: within 40 minutes by boat from our beachfront dive shop there are more than 25 dive sites, offering every kind of dive experience. We have deep dives and drifts, walls and reefs, wrecks, caves and muck dives. We also have 5 dive sites within a 10 minute boat ride from our front door.
Bali’s Marine life
The variety of Bali’s marine life is extraordinary, from the awe-inspiring Giant Sunfish (Mola Mola) through a bewildering number of tropical fish species to an incredible richness of Nudibranchs, crustaceans and invertebrates. Amid all today’s stories of environmental gloom and disaster, it is exciting to be able to report that most of our reefs are in better condition than they were 5 years ago.
